Lucky Knot Workshop

Learn how to tie the lucky knot, a symbol of protection and good fortune in many Asian cultures. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will be guided through the traditional knot-tying process and invited to personalize their knot with beads and discs.

Each participant will leave with at least one finished knot, step-by-step instructions from the artist, and a zine on different kinds of knots.

Led by: Ahmoy William Lau (they/them), a Chinese knot artist and educator based in Dᶻidᶻəlalič / Seattle, whose work is inspired by their queer ancestors and hidden histories.
