Open Mic at the Fishbowl

  • The Fishbowl 323 2nd Avenue West Seattle, WA, 98119 United States (map)

Join us for our monthly Open Mic Night! Whether you’re a poet, musician, storyteller, or performer of any kind, this is your space to share, connect, and express.

Come out and share your art in an evening full of creativity connection and unexpected moments. Or just come to listen, reflect, and be part of the experience!

🎤 Optional Prompt: In Honor of Juneteenth

Tonight’s open mic falls on Juneteenth — a day that honors Black freedom, resilience, and the ongoing fight for liberation.

If you feel inspired, you’re invited to share a piece that reflects on:

  • What does liberation mean to you — personally, ancestrally, creatively?

  • What are you healing from that wasn’t yours to carry?

  • How do you honor those who came before you — in body, in spirit, in song?

Not required, just an offering. Whatever you need to share tonight, the mic is open.

Guidelines:

  • All forms of expression are welcome!

  • You don’t need to stick to the theme but are welcome to take inspiration from it.

  • If you need a mic for your performance, be sure to come early and do a sound check.

Sign up to perform here or arrive early to secure your spot!
